Water-inflated cofferdam flood control barriers have proven to be very effective tools for flood protection. Affordable, effective, safe and easy to install, they save time, labor and money when compared to sandbags and other flood control devices. AquaDams® are portable dams filled with onsite water that can be installed wherever needed to control, contain or divert the flow of water. The dam consists of two basic components: two watertight inner polyethylene tubes which contain the water and the "master tube" (made of a heavy-duty geotextile woven polypropylene) which keeps the two inner tubes in contact when filled.
